We test everything on our own pets first

We started because we couldn't find a dog bed that held its shape without costing a fortune. You can read the full story on our Our Story page, but the short version is: a lot of frustrated late-night searching, and a dog who deserved better than what was out there.

That same instinct still runs the company today. Nothing goes up on this site until it's been slept on, scratched at, chewed near, and generally lived with in someone's actual home. We're not interested in gear that looks good in a photo and falls apart in six weeks.

We're a small team, which means we read every review ourselves, we notice patterns in what people ask for, and when something isn't working — a size running small, a colour that looks different in person — we hear about it directly and fix it.

Whether you've got a dog with joint pain, a kitten intent on shredding anything that isn't your sofa, or both curled up in the same sunny spot, our job is to make life a little easier for the humans doing the caring.
